Be Careful What and Whom You Partner With…..

Just a little something that I have been thinking about recently….

The atmosphere is not just something that is around the earth…

We all live in an atmosphere. This atmosphere is created by a LOT of things… Our thoughts, feelings, decisions and by the people who are close to us, people we work with, family,  people who we spend time with… like our friends… and even people we may just bump into or cross paths with!

And we all KNOW that atmospheres are also created by people we are not friends with, people we struggle with for one reason or another. It may seem more obvious that these people have a huge opportunity to create an atmosphere for us but also likely to create atmospheres for us are the ones closest to us… These can be so subtle that we allow ourselves to live in them and with them… the atmospheres that is…

Start taking notice of what is going on AROUND you….

Can you sense something?

Can you feel something?

Have you ever realised that you don’t have to live in an ‘atmosphere’ that others have created for you?

Have you realised that you can change the atmosphere that surrounds you?

‘Atmospheres’ are not all bad! There are some atmospheres I wish we could live in…. Atmospheres like hope, peace, calm, joy, love, confidence to name a few. I’d say we should start fostering these atmospheres! Do all we can to encourage their growth and keep them around! This is the place where growth happens most, like the optimum conditions for growing plants!

On the other hand we could be in an atmosphere that really isn’t good for us… I am beginning to learn to NOT PARTNER with atmospheres – for me that is the first step… For example not partnering with anger, insecurity, fear…

Dont just sit in it… start changing it… You can start by recognising it, then not partnering with it, and then by changing it!

What ways have you found to change the atmosphere?
I’d love to hear your thoughts….. about any of it
