Love while you can…

Love them while you can <3

Love them while you can!

Life turns on a dime… And even though we don’t have ‘dimes’ here in Australia the saying is as true as ever and this is often how life goes.

We often think we have time, we often think we can do that later but loving is one thing that we shouldn’t put off for later, or think we have the time for because life is fragile and it fractures and it moves about in unpredictable ways and so we should love the people in our lives while we can.

Here today… gone tomorrow… Another saying that strikes me, one of those sayings my mum used to say often. Sadly these days love can seem to be like that but from the people in life whom we hold the dearest, the ones that are there to stay, love should never be here today and gone tomorrow.

Love stands the test of time, love cares beyond the normal ‘care factor’ that a lot of things are given today in our disposable society but love also has boundaries and wisdom and so even if you think that love may not appear to be there, it just might be the love that you are seeing occur by the boundaries that are there but love is still love regardless.

Love sometimes looks airy fairy and light, sometimes its all gooey, sometimes its firm, and sometimes its black and white but love is still love. And I hope that we will always love while we can… No regrets!

  • Your words have definitely warmed my heart. My thoughts after reading your beautiful words, took me to 1 Corinthians Chapter 13: Charity suffers long and bears much. Love is patient, and kind; liberal and bountiful. Love does good to all men. At the age of 4 my daughter came home from pre-school and shared a quote that her teacher taught the class (of approx. 10 children); she said, “Treat others the way that you want to be treated.” My daughter is now 27 yrs. old and even today this has stuck with me, and we both model our lives after her message. Thank you for sharing your message of love with your readers. Blessing to you! 🙂

  • Your Graphic is beautiful Cam, your very creative have you always had this gift?.

When it comes to Love, I would rather have God’s Love, it is committed through the good and bad and this is what He wants for us too as confirmed in The Scriptures below, we need to aim to be perfected in Love and not just accept worldly love that comes and goes.

God asks us to be perfected in Love putting our Carnal flesh to death (Romans 8 :12-15-Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 5:24 -26) so we don’t sin in the future, He wants us to be Born Again knowing fully His heart of Love for us. 1Corinthians2:9-16

1John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man/woman of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.

Christian Love in Christ Jesus – Anne.
