MyPsalms 76-78 ~ Letters to God

MYPSALMS 76-78

I’m reading through the Psalms and I’m writing my own MyPsalms… They are a wonderful way to connect God and I in real conversation. I hope you are enjoying them. Maybe you will feel inspired to write your own Psalms!

My desire is to find this place of intimacy, this place of desire and knowing, this place of dependence on Him in all things. My days are so full that I just blow through them with working full-time and all the requirements of a family and then I wonder did I talk to God at all during the day?”

MyPsalms 76-78 are below and the links to the album that will contain all of them =)

I hope you enjoy them. To keep up with them each day please go and visit my Facebook page

MyPsalm 76
Day 76
Read Psalm 76 in your own bible or here: Psalm 76
 Dear Lord,

Thank you that you are making me into your likeness and Lord I pray that I will always be able to ‘lean into’ whatever it is you are doing in me and go with the flow of your work in that area of my life.

Lord you know just where and how to draw me into life learning, life increasing and life transforming works. I am so glad that I know of your love and that your love for me translates into the plan that you have in my life.

At times I feel like running away, just doing things on my own but you draw me into relationship and fellowship with you and others and you give me wisdom to work through the issues that arise.

Lord you are my deliverer. You long for my freedom and freedom only comes through you showing me the cords that have held me back and tied me down. And one by one as I release my grip you are able to take these away.

Sometimes that cords that hold us back and tie us down are also the cords that we hold onto for safety, for security, for an anchor but Lord our safety, our security and our anchor is only found in you.
In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 77

Day 77

Read Psalm 77 in your own bible or here: Psalm 77
Dear Lord,

You are my shelter, you are my shield, you are my refuge. I will remain. Where else could I possibly go to find the freedom that I need.?

I will stay here, tucked inside your refuge until you show me how to come out. While I wait I will rest in youR presence and listen to your heartbeat. This is where you want me, for now and for always.

You know the cords that have bound me, you know the hold that has kept me and you will reveal and unravel every entanglement that is hidden there.

You see deep within me and you long to free me into even greater levels of newness of life. I will not fear the footsteps ahead.

In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 78

Day 78

Read Psalm 78 in your own bible or here: Psalm 78

Dear Lord

One minute the ground I am standing on seems so familiar and then within an instant, with one seemingly small revelation of your truth, everything can be changed.

It can feel uncomfortable, when the light of your love comes across a barrier that has been built there.

It seems uncomfortable, when I find an area on my life is not what I thought… When a comfy place of shelter is revealed to be a lair that the enemy of my soul has built to simulate the life, comfort and place of rest I thought You had built for me.

And so again my life is in deconstruction and reconstruction. The walls built have been fortified by many years of shoring up the foundations under the pretense that this was a safe place You led me to when instead you have allowed me to remain here till this time when you are ready to show me what this is all about.

I am undone. I am unsettled for a moment but I know this must happen in order to reveal this place for what it is and resettle me on the solid ground of your rich deep unfathomable love from which I will not be shaken.
In Jesus Name, Amen

Amen

Hope you enjoy the journey!

MyPsalm 73
Day 73
Read Psalm 73 in your own bible or here: Psalm 73

Dear Lord,

You know me better than anyone. I love how you lead me by paths that I didn’t expect to bring healing into my life in wounds which I didn’t know existed.

You are the gentle shepherd. You come after me when I attempt to leave for other pastures. You love shepherding me and you gather me close to you and I can feel your embrace

Oh Lord let my soul find rest in you. I place my heart in your hands. No others hands but yours. In the past I have placed my heart in others hands but I have learnt you are the keeper of my heart and soul.

In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 74

Day 74

Read Psalm 74 in your own bible or here: Psalm 74
Dear Lord,

You plan is amazing Lord. We can only look and see with our eyes and try to work out what is happening and what the ultimate purpose is.

Little by little every day another piece of your plan unfolds for our life as we stay close to you, you reveal the things we need to know and when there are things that remain unknown to us, then you hold us and watch over us until we can see a fuller picture.

Thank you that you also hold my family and friends whilst the plan for their lives is unfolding, especially those who have not put their trust in you as yet and while you hold them please whisper to them of your love and your goodness and help them to see you all around them until they acknowledge your presence.

In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 75

Day 75

Read Psalm 75 in your own bible or here: Psalm 75

Dear Lord

Let garments of your light enfold us no matter where we go. You are light and in you there is no darkness and when we take your light with us we bring light to all that need it so desperately.

Lord when we remind ourselves that we are wrapped in your light then no matter where we go we will bring light to dark places. In reality that darkness can not come near us.

Lord let your light show us Your truth, the way that You see things as opposed to how shadows make things look. Let your Light expose the works of the enemy and remove its supposed power, fighting against something that is not really there is like boxing shadows.

Let your light gently flood into our being and bring your healing power with it. Let it dissipate every despair, every fear, every worry, let them all be washed away by your presence and your life.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Amen

Hope you enjoy the journey!

MyPsalm 70
Day 70
Read Psalm 70 in your own bible or here: Psalm 70

Dear Lord,

I breathe you in. Fill me with your new Life afresh. I breathe out all that stifles me, that chokes me and thank you for replacing all of that each day.

Lord let your light shine ahead of me and hold my focus and my gaze. Lift me above the things which disturb me and shake me.

You are the Rock

In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 71

Day 71

Read Psalm 71 in your own bible or here: Psalm 71
Dear Lord,

We walk together and we agree. How can two walk together unless they do agree? Otherwise we would be walking in different directions.

I believe in you. I believe in your word. I trust you with my whole heart now and forever more.

I agree with what your word says. I agree with your promises. I agree with your encouragements and your laws and your wisdom.

I come into alignment with You, you are the Word made flesh. You are the spoken Word. Your words are life and as we speak your word we call things into being through your power.

You are perfectly faithful, you do things today that you planned long ago. Yesterday, today and tomorrow are the same for you. And so they all exist in the same instant for you.

You have already seen tomorrow and you have experienced yesterday before we did. Today is every day with you.

In Jesus Name, Amen

MyPsalm 72

Day 72

Read Psalm 72 in your own bible or here: Psalm 72

Dear Lord

Lead me to the quiet place where I find you in all your strength and majesty.

Draw me into the deep waters where I can find refreshing from your streams.

Show me your footsteps that I might follow you closely.

Guide me to the top of the mountain where you can show me your plans.

You are my Source of strength
You are where my hope comes from
You are the Light of my way
and the brightness of my dawn.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Amen

Hope you enjoy the journey!
