The gift of love is eternal… indelibly loved!

The gift of love is eternal… indelibly loved!

The gift of love is eternal. When we give love it just keeps giving. The precious words ‘I love you’ are never wasted even if there is no response to sharing your love.

Love makes and indelible impression on people’s’ hearts. It may not show that it has hit its mark today but the mark is there and hopefully one day it will be acknowledged.

I remember long long ago when I didn’t know how to say ‘I love you’ but the ‘I love you’s’ were in me. I just didn’t grow up hearing those words, I just kind of knew it.

I learnt to love through my now husband and his precious mum ❤ My second mum. Love was their language and I felt the love, I knew I was loved and I was told I was loved.

I knew I needed to learn how to give this gift of love to other people, especially those closest to me, those to whom it was the hardest to say. And so I practiced! I practiced on my mum, I KNEW she loved me but she never told me. I started to practice on her and it took awhile but I learnt to do it. I started with a kiss goodbye and a kiss hello.

There are people in all our lives that we just couldn’t imagine telling them that we love them…. How about giving it some consideration!!

The most amazing things can happen if we dare to love! I believe if we dare to love, then the God of love will begin a work of freeing and healing in our souls. Once we allow this love to be released then it will continue to work in other people and it will work an amazing miracle inside of us!

I am only realising now how amazing this gift of loving has been in my life. The ability to say it, give it, share it, show it! I am free to love. I see so many people who are not free to love and they don’t even know it. Life and its experiences have bound them up in cages that seem impossible to get out of but it’s not impossible and it’s not too late… ever….

Is it time to start, is it time to whisper a few words, is it time to just say it?

Share the love you have and change a life each time.

Everyone needs to know and hear that they are loved.

If you say it, it might be the only time they hear it… ever…. so give it, say it, share it ♥

Once again encouraged…

Once again encouraged…

Tell your story
Share the miracles
If you do even more miracles will happen!
Have you ever considered that this is one way to ‘pay it forward’?
Sharing the right words at just the right time can change someones day… it can change your day!

The fires that we want to fuel are fires of hope, peace, faith, love, joy….

One way to fuel these fires is by piling our testimony on the fire, sharing the breakthrough, the miracle, the small mercies and the answers that we found, the ways that God came through for us, the way He cared about all the little details of our lives and that he worked in our situation like only He could!

When we remind ourselves of the breakthroughs and miracles in our own stories we put fuel on our very own fire.

And boy, do we ever need to keep our home fires burning.
Don’t let the fire go out.

Fuel the fire with God’s word, with great music, with inspiring messages, with good company!
In doing all these things we are building our own faith and paving the pathway to our own destiny!

Romans 1:12

That is, that we may be mutually strengthened and encouraged and comforted by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.
When we hear each others stories, then we see the love of God in action and we are once again encouraged that He will continue to work His miracles in our lives!

Finding rest….

“If you look at the world you’ll be distressed.

If you look within

you’ll be depressed.

f you look at God you’ll be at rest”

I am learning to keep in mind that God is at work in my life and also in my family’s life.
Sometimes this is easier said than done.
There are moments where I am anxious and so worried about how things might turn out.
I used to try to control them, try to have some influence in how things played out!
I am learning to be at rest, look at God and let go of having that control over situations.
It doesn’t mean that I can’t say what I think.
It doesn’t mean I can think about it.
But it does mean that I commit it to God.
I bring God into each story and I thank Him that every one of our stories is written in His book.
I remind myself before Him that He is watching over all my loved ones and the plan for their life.
I am finding some freedom in this, in letting go, and letting God.
I am excited to see what He is going to do!
His plans are for good and not for harm!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for
welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
